Cove Creativity

At Cove, I love crafting beautiful linen clothing for women and children, designed with comfort and style in mind. My passion extends to leatherwork, where I create a variety of handmade items, including bags, wallets, books, gardening belts and much more—each piece thoughtfully designed to inspire creativity and functionality. Founded in Victoria, my journey began with the joy of creating custom linen pieces for my five granddaughters where it quickly grew to include the world of leather. Each order presents a new challenge and an opportunity to bring unique ideas to life. I believe in the beauty of handcrafted goods and the stories they tell.

Magbagsetc

Susan Romphf Fibre Artist I’m a retired registered nurse and I love all things fibre and colour. About 16 years ago I was shown how to make a piece of “silk “ paper and I haven’t stopped discovering all the things you can do with silk roving, silk hankies and a process called silk fusion. I then combine the silk fusion pieces with cork fabric or faux leather to creat unique bags, wallets, journals and earrings. Adding machine embroidered images to my work adds an extra dimension of fun and whimsy. You will also find free standing lace ornaments, cuff bracelets and earrings. I do custom orders. I love to share this fun and versatile fabric with folks. And look forward to sharing my passion of silk with you.

Art by Julie Proulx

Experience the captivating charm of lush West Coast woodlands and mesmerizing coastal scenes, expressed though natural wool landscapes. Julie Proulx is a West Coast artist and graduated from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. She is grateful to live on W̱SÁNEĆ territory on the Saanich Peninsula. The beauty of nature through the seasons provides abundant inspiration for the West Coast landscapes. Drawing from light, colour and movement, Julie translates West Coast forest and coastline scenes into contemporary art works using multiple layers of thin wisps of dyed wool rovings and a single grooved needle. The fibre layers manipulate light and colour similar to an acrylic painting. The landscapes are very tactile, liken it to running a finger over the bark on a spruce tree or the lichen on a rock.

Food & Beverage

Bicycle Pizza

Bicycle Pizza is a family affair. In our family, we always eat together and make time for exercise - preferably on bikes. What started as a “what if” quickly turned into a “why not” which became a “let’s go for it” - all in a matter of months. Bicycle Pizza is run by a family of pizza lovers located right here on Southern Vancouver Island. Family life is hectic but we always find time to sit down and eat together. We like to think that we are helping others do the same. Enjoy!

It starts with a focus on sourcing. Great coffee is grown on small-scale, family-owned farms and sold through co-operatives that invest in their communities.

Triskelion Pottery

I awoke at 2am with an overwhelming thought, I should try pottery. I immediately looked online and found a class starting the next week with ONE space left. Now a few years later, I am in the studio 4 times a week creating and trying new techniques. I think back to that random 2am thought often, then shrug……The universe works in marvelous ways. The Triskelion, as if moving outwards from its center. It is believed to signify energies, motion of action, cycles and progress. Much like my journey so far with the endless possibilities of this art medium.

Hello there I’m Nancy, the founder and designer behind Calli Lilli jewelry. I love everything jewelry related - creating jewelry- shopping for jewelry - learning about gemstones, crystals and beads all of it! Inspired by travel, color, and the opulence of faceted stones my designs are arranged to capture the beauty and natural elegance of the materials. My work is handmade and artisanal, each piece unique and created with care. I strive to create beautiful pieces that are adorable and affordable for everyday wear. Wearing beautiful jewelry makes every moment great and I want to share my jewelry with you!

Little Golden Luxuries

I have always loved exploring markets, finding unique treasures, and immersing myself in the vibrant atmosphere. Markets have been my favorite summer and travel activity, offering a glimpse into local cultures and artisanal craftsmanship. However, during my market adventures, I noticed a gap: there was never any good jewelry for us gold girls. I struggled to find high-quality gold pieces that were both stylish and affordable.

Post & Pearl Designs

Steph Norrie, the artist behind Post & Pearl Designs, has been passionate about beading since childhood, creating jewelry for friends and family. Now, she's channeling this skill to help fund her dream of becoming a teacher, with plans to bring creative learning into her future classroom. Steph finds the jewelry-making process both therapeutic and creatively fulfilling, which is reflected in the care and attention to detail in each handcrafted piece. She believes jewelry brings joy to both its creator and its wearer, and she crafts each item with love.

The Backyard Birdhouse

During the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, my husband and I decided we'd try to keep busy by making a few projects out of reclaimed/refurbished materials. And soon, the Backyard Birdhouse was born. Our goal is to create pieces that clearly show we have put time and effort into creating them. Our creations can easily fit into your interior home decor just as much as your exterior garden decor and we hope that we can provide bird and garden lovers, and homeowners, with unique, fun designs loaded with charm and character.

Lady Stardust Handbags

Hello! My name is Kirsten and I am the maker at Lady Stardust. I rekindled my interest in sewing during the pandemic and after making hundreds of masks, decided to branch out into something more challenging and fulfilling. I am a self-taught sewist and have learned the art of bag making from YouTube! In addition to making bags, I am a burgeoning quilter and am dipping my toe further into the world of garment construction with more formalized training in 2024. When not working on all things Stardust, I can be found either at my full-time job, training in showjumping with my horse Wink, and spending time with my husband and three doggos. This year I will also be undertaking my Master's degree in Education. A juggling act for sure! ★✧ Lady Stardust Handbags have arisen from a love of rock n' roll and vintage styles. Each bag is inspired by the fabrics themselves and the adventures that I envision them having with their owners. Bags are handmade in my home studio in Esquimalt, surrounded by west coast vibes, music and front row magic. I hope that you will enjoy your bag as much as I did making it. Cheers!

DLH CardCreations

Paper Trail Goods

Letterpress is the slow, craftsman approach to printing. Using my collection of vintage presses with wood type and linoleum cuts I create posters, sketch books, notebooks and cards. Beautiful paper such as vintage BC maps and hand stitched bindings result in one of a kind pieces. Recent work incorporates covers from nature such as tree bark and slate.

Cindy’s Creations

Amazing things happen when you add rubbing alcohol to ink. Because the spontaneous, fast moving ink flows naturally, it's often only after I see how the ink flows that I decide which direction I will try to take my painting as it usually takes on a life of its own.
